ColLab is a virtual university project of the University of Oulu, Finland. The project has been launched in autumn 2007 together with the Research Unit for Educational Technology, Department of Information Processing Science, Department of English and Department of Art Studies and Anthropology, V-LAB and Snellmania library. The aim of the project is to develop research-based pedagogical models, in which new collaborative technologies (e.g. blogs, 3d -environments, wikis) are applied.
